i'm moving to the State Washington and i was just curious about how old you have to be to legally work.
Federal law sets the minimum age at 14 if the employer is subject to the law "As a general rule, the FLSA sets 14 years of age as the minimum age for employment, and limits the number of hours worked by minors under the age of 16".
