Why do drivers forget they are pedestrians too?
When in car parks, drivers act as though the pedestrians should not be there and drive inconsiderately.
When drivers get out of their cars in the car park, they walk behind cars that are reversing, walk in the middle of the lane and generally behave as though they have no knowledge of what other car drivers might do and they walk inconsiderately.
Why is this? Why cannot car drivers respect pedestrians, and pedestrians not respect car drivers? (They are the same people!)
I too don't understand this one. People will walk into the path of reversing vehicles (where the driver has a more constrained view) but they'll never walk into the path of a forward moving vehicle. Maybe someone who does it can explain their reasons. An old guy walked into the path of my car one time whilst I was reversing. He called ME stupid. Beggars belief!
