How can you whiten or lighten your skin? PLEASE READ INSIDE?

What products or what method can I use?

DO NOT automatically believe that I have dark skin and that I have a self-esteem issue.

First of all, I do not have dark skin. I acutally have light skin, however, do to discoloration, it would seem a pasty dark nasty color. This is why I want my skin to be lightened/whitened.

NOT BECAUSE I HAVE ISSUES WITH MY SKIN COLOR.

A yogurt mask left on for 15 min. over time will lighten your skin and hydrate.
