Anybody crochet prt 3?
I am doing a Bolero(some kind of cardigan) it says tomake 120 chain-1st row- miss three chain,1tr in each chain to end- 2nd row (1dc, 1ch) then 'WRAP' which i'm getting all confused and tangled up with- 1tr in each of next 2tr, then work2tr working around2 tr just worked-'HALF WRAP'-work 2tr around 2tr just worked. I must really choose the hard patterns to do! Thankyou so much to the person who helped me with my last pattern.
CHAIN (ch) = wrap yarn and pull through forming loop
SINGLE CROCHET (sc) = Don't wrap. Slide hook through loop and pull through. Wrap and pull through loops.
DOUBLE CROCHET (dc) = Wrap yarn one time around hook, slide hook through loop and pull through. Wrap and pull through two loops. Wrap and pull through two loops.
TREBLE CROCHET (tr) = Wrap yarn around hook 2 times, slide hook through loop and pull through. Wrap and pull through two loops. Wrap and pull through two loops. Wrap and pull through final two loops left.
Chain 120. (Get ready for 1st row)
Skip 3 of those chains. Treble crochet in each chain all the way to end (1st Row).
Make one Double Crochet and chain one and wrap yarn around hook (as if for double crochet or treble crochet).
Make one Treble Crochet in each of the next two trebles. Here is the tricky part. Instead of putting your hook in the next treble crochet after wrapping, you are going to do the following:
* Wrap two times (in order to make Treble Crochet)
* Put hook in between the bars instead of the top loop. When you make your treble crochet it will wrap around the previous two stitches instead of being in the top of the row underneath. It is going to look strange until you complete the next set of stitches, which will anchor these two stitches.
* Wrap two times (in order to make second Treble Crochet)
* Put hook in between the bars again.
Keep refering to you pattern picture. Sometimes this may mean that you have two bars and you are wrapping one stitch around both, and sometimes it means you are making two stitches one each on top of two stitches.
Take a good look at where they stitches are placed.
